In a letter sent to British Naturism, the Commandant of the Ministry of  Defence training camp at Penhale in Cornwall has announced a ban on naturists using the nearby beach and Perran Sands.

In the light of press reports about an 'incident' at Fraisthorpe beach, local campaigner John Wymark-Hoar has issued a statement about the situation

New problems have been reported from Fraisthorpe beach near Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast. One again, the majority of naturists are threatened by alledged problems caused by the behaviour of an irresponsible minority.

Richard Collins, the naturist activist who has become well-known in andaround Cambridge for his naked cycling exploits, has been arrestedwhile cycling naked around Picadilly Circus with a placard saying“Naked for Peace”.
